Ryan Todd is the Lead Trainer at Taylor’s Tails K9 Care, bringing over 15 years of personal experience with dogs and four years of professional dog training and care. He is certified by the Department of Labor as an animal handler and holds a training certificate from Canine Companions, a well-respected service dog training institution. During his time there, he successfully trained nine dogs that became service animals.

Ryan specializes in basic command and leash training, crate training, gentle grooming, dog sitting, and in-person coaching for new dog owners. His training approach emphasizes gentle correction and positive reinforcement, utilizing tools like the gentle leader leash and food motivation. He prioritizes the safety and emotional well-being of dogs and never uses harsh methods. As part of a locally owned and veteran-operated business, Ryan and his team offer personalized care, drawing on experience with therapy and service dogs from their time in the military.
